PP woven sacks production process
The production process of PP woven sacks includes the following stages:
1. PP yarn production
Workers feed PP resin pellets into the hopper of the yarn-making equipment. The plastic pellets are drawn into the extruder, where they undergo heating and melting. The extrusion screw pushes the molten plastic through the die, with the length and width adjusted according to requirements.
After heating, the plastic film is formed and then passed through a water bath for cooling and shaping. The film is then slit into yarns with a width of 2–3 mm. The yarns are subsequently heat-treated for stabilization before being wound according to the required yarn specifications. Yarn waste is cut, crushed, and fed back into the extruder.
2. PP fabric weaving
After the PP yarn is produced, the yarn rolls are fed into a 6-shuttle circular loom. The yarns are woven into tubular fabric and wound into PP woven fabric rolls.
3. PP fabric lamination
For PP woven sacks that require lamination, a forklift is used to transport the PP fabric roll onto the lamination machine. A 30-thick PP coating is then applied to improve bonding. After rewinding, the PP fabric roll is sent for printing. This process helps improve the appearance of PP woven sacks.
4. Printing on woven sacks
There are various technologies for printing on PP woven sacks. OPP film lamination is commonly used because it is simple and cost-effective.
5. Finished product cutting and packaging
Finally, the PP woven fabric roll passes through the side-folding and cutting system to create finished products. The sacks can be sewn before printing or printed before sewing. At the end of the process, the finished products pass through an automatic counting conveyor for bale packaging and are inspected again before being transferred to the warehouse.
